Overview

Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè was founded durring the late 11th century, by Knihl Trênm. The establishment of Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Knihl Trênm struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè as a prison colony.

Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè is is constructed arround a series of restrictive canals mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè's size could have. Astonishigly, the well-designed, yet cheep are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

Even the most brief look arround Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè has a good chance of putting a church or shrine into the center of your view. The town is most certainly a god fearing community. It’s also definitely a god loving community. THe streetcornors are occupied by preachers, with the occasional intersection playing host to an actually friendly debate relating to the merits of various gods. Even the less popular as well as the less politically loved gods seem to have a space in Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè, there’s even shrines to gods known to the region only through hearsay.

Cultural Notes

Thêha-lisi Dêtîkè's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.
